We Have A zūmo Winner!
Thousands of entries poured in for the zūmo contest, so we put all the names in a hat and drew one. Bob S. of Yuma, AZ is the lucky winner!
Bob is no stranger to motorcycles or Garmin. He currently rides a 2003 Honda ST1300 and uses a StreetPilot 2610 for all of his trips, including long distance rallies and endurance rides. The 2610 is hard wired into the bike’s power supply and the voice wired into his intercom system. Bob also rides a 2003 Suzuki DL 1000 adventure touring bike, and he uses the 2610 with it too. Bob’s first Garmin was a GPS 12XL, which he used on his Honda XR650L dual sport bike. Bob no longer owns the Honda XR650L, but still has and uses the GPS 12XL. That set up was mostly used for off roading, and Bob says he loves the GPS 12XL’s track back feature. According to Bob, “I have been reading about the zūmo & am totally excited about getting one. I love the idea that it will be motorcycle rider specific & friendly.”
