Tour_of_missouri_st_louis_011Tour_of_missouri_st_louis_015The weather continues to alternate between downpour and sunshine during Stage 7 in St. Louis – we just might come out of this with a sunburn and pneumonia. The race began without a hitch, and a two-man break held a 35-second lead on the first of five circuits. They just came through the second lap, and Team Garmin looks very strong. We’ve already posted pictures to our Flickr page. More to come…

[UPDATE] = With one lap left, Team Garmin is looking strong. Joining the Garmin blog team today is Daniel Holloway, who wrapped up his work yesterday for the Tour of Missouri. One of the team’s up-and-coming riders, Holloway seems like a guy who just landed the perfect job. He couldn’t be happier with his team, and he roomed with Christian the past two nights. He raved about the team’s camaraderie and willingness to groom young riders. "It’s amazing how so much of this team has gone full cycle," he explained. And that commitment to growth and teaching is evident. Young riders become leaders, leaders become directors and the team becomes a champion.
