Garmin VIRB and quatix help sailors race to the finish line in the M32 Cup

The Garmin VIRB Elite captured all the action of the M32 Cup catamaran races that were held over four days in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmo, Sweden and Copenhagen, Denmark. Anchored to the racer’s helmet with a strap mount, the VIRB Elite HD Action Camera filmed every move the sailors made throughout the racing events. VIRB’s water resistance and durability makes it the perfect accessory to ride the waves with. Racers should also be equipped with the quatix. This navigation watch has specialized sail racing features that include a race countdown timer, virtual starting line, tack assist and can serve as a remote control for the VIRB. The M32 Cup allows sailors from different disciplines to come together and compete in a professional sailing series. The races happen close to shore so spectators can watch from the docks.
