If you’re from the land down under, you can now enjoy having Garmin navigation on your phone. Today, Telstra, Australia’s leading telecom company, started offering a new GPS navigation application that is based on Garmin Mobile. The Whereis Navigator (yep, they’ve given it a new moniker) will give users turn-by-turn, voice-prompted directions to thousands of locations in Oz. If you’re on the fence on if this the plan for you, you can read more about it here and you can also download it to your phone for a seven-day free trial.
