Garmin Introduces ADS-B HelpLine
ADS-B is something that weighs heavily on the minds of aircraft owners as the January 1, 2020 date looms closer. The baseline requirement of ADS-B “out” capability for transponder-equipped aircraft has been a hot button item in the aviation industry, and the FAA is standing fast on its word that the January 1, 2020 deadline will not be extended. So what does this mean for aircraft owners? For many, it means a lot of stress and headaches, but also the potential to receive beneficial traffic and weather.
