Garmin at Sun ‘n’ Fun, Day 1 – New Products and Upgrades
The Sun ‘n Fun International Fly-in kicked off today in Lakeland, Florida, and we’re here with some great new products on display. If you're at the show, make sure you visit us in Hangar D to get a first glimpse at the GTN series we unveiled last week (you can see one of several tutorial videos below). You can also check out the G2000, our new premium integrated flight deck for high performance piston aircraft. We unveiled the system this morning at Sun ‘n’ Fun. Cessna is the first aircraft manufacturer to announce they have selected the G2000. It will be the avionics platform for the new Corvalis TTx.
If you're not able to make it to the show, here's a quick overview of this week’s other announcements. We’ve added features and special rebates offers for the G3X Experimental and LSA Glass Cockpit. We’re now offering AC-U-KWIK airport directory data for the GPSMAP 696/695 and aera 550/560. And we’ve announced upgrades to the Pilot My-Cast app that include navigation, georeferenced FliteCharts and XM weather integration. Be sure to follow the Garmin blog for additional details throughout the show.
