Cruising on 29ers with Edge 800 and Forerunner 910XT: An Afternoon with Garmin Sponsored Athlete Matt Lieto on Phil’s Trail Network, Bend, Oregon

Yesterday, Garmin employee and Bend, Oregon cycling legend (at least that’s what he tells us) Karsten, took his Specialized 29er and Edge 800 and met up with Pro-Triathlete Matt Lieto for some shredding on Phil’s Trail Network in Bend. During their 17 mile ride the two had time to chat about our new Forerunner 910XT – which Lieto and Hagenwill start shipping later this month. Matt had lots of questions about the robust swim metrics, he first learForerunner910XT_HR_100.3ned about in Kona, HI., like stroke rate, stroke count, swolf  and the 910’s ability to track your distance and location during open water sw ims. Matt had his 910 on his wrist and was a huge fan of the vibration alerts he had set in advance of their ride.

Thanks to Matt, several other of our sponsored athletes and our hardworking Lieto on Ben'sengineers for putting the 910 through the toughest conditions and making sure its metrics are industry leading when it gets into your hands and on your wrists!
