Come See Garmin at the Sun ‘n Fun Fly-In!
We’re heading down to Sun ‘n Fun in Lakeland, Florida today for the 40th annual fly-in! We’ve made several new product announcements over the past few weeks and we’ll have everything on display at the show so you’ll want to be sure you stop by and see Garmin!
If you’re a homebuilder, be sure to make it a point to swing by our booth and check out our G3X Touch system designed specifically for amateur-built and light sport aircraft (LSA). G3X Touch features a 10.6-inch infrared touchscreen display and gives pilots an easy-to-read, easy-to-use system with split screen functionality. If you have installation questions or simply just want to swap flying stories, Team X will be at the show all week. As pilots and homebuilders themselves, the guys from Team X are happy to help!
We’ll also be showcasing new VIRB accessories designed specifically with pilots in mind! VIRB now offers two bundled options, which give pilots everything they need to fly with an action camera in the cockpit. Both bundles include a new headset cable, prop filter, suction cup mount, microSD card, and a free six month trial to Garmin Pilot. As if that wasn’t enough, the Aviator Action Pack has all of that and adds our D2 Pilot Watch to the bundle. The new VIRB Elite for Aviation Bundle and Aviator Action Pack will be available from select Garmin dealers at the Sun ‘n Fun airshow beginning tomorrow.
Check out the latest Garmin Pilot has to offer, including the display of synthetic vision on iOS products! Garmin Pilot also provides remote control functionality of VIRB so pilots may take photos and start/stop video from the application. Be sure to check out the seamless integration between VIRB, Garmin Pilot, and even our D2 Pilot Watch!
Once you receive a one-on-one product demonstration, swing through Garmin’s seminar tent (located just outside of our booth in Hangar D in Tent N11) and get up to speed on a variety of topics, including ADS-B or Exciting Products for Experimental Aircraft Builders.
