Blank Check Cashes In
Recently, our friends over at Jarrett Bay delivered a brand new Jarrett Bay 77 Custom yacht named Blank Check. Needless to say, Captain Danny Hearn and the entire Blank Check crew have had a pretty good last couple of weeks aboard this beautiful new boat.
Equipped with our new GPSMAP 8000 Glass Helm Series, Blank Check won the Bermuda Billfish Release Cup, landed the largest blue marlin in the Bermuda Billfish Blast, both Garmin-sponsored events, and won the Blue Marlin Cup.
The Bermuda Billfish Release Cup is a two-day boat tournament that awards different point totals based on species of fish caught and released. Blank Check kicked the tournament off right by hauling a nearly 300 lb. blue marlin on Day 1, which ultimately lead to their winning the tournament.
The Blue Marlin Cup, also known as the World Cup, is an international event that took place on July 4th in 18 countries and showcased over 130 participating teams. Blank Check reeled in the winning marlin, weiging in at 668 lbs. and giving Blank Check over $300,000 in winnings.
