aera 796 debuts at AOPA Summit
Today is the opening day of the AOPA Aviation Summit in Hartford, Connecticut and Garmin is here showcasing all of our great aviation products. The booth has been crowded with people interested in getting their hands on our latest innovation, the aera 796, which is on display for the first time here at the show.
Booth visitors have been impressed with the bright, high-resolution display and the 3D Vision feature that shows a 3D depiction of the surroundings outside the aircraft. Others have
commented on how easy it is to pull up and clearly read the electronic charts. The feedback has been overwhelming! Check out AOPA's video on the aera 796.
In other excitement here at the show, this morning Garmin was the recipient of an AOPA Pilot's Choice Award. The award was presented for "most watched product video", and Garmin was the winner for a video on the GTN touchscreen avionics. We are very honored to receive this award and are thrilled that there has been so much interest in the GTN series. If you haven't seen the video, you can check it out here.
