GTU 10 tracks 70-year-old cyclist on solo journey

New Image Garmin's GTU 10 is a GPS locator that combines a web-based tracking service with GPS technology so you can keep watch on what matters most to you. From children to pets to property – the GTU 10 is small and lightweight and makes it easy to track what's important to you. And as you can see from the story that was sent to us below – whatever it is you need to keep an eye on – the GTU 10 can bringpeace of mind when you need it most. Thanks to Paul A., who wrote in to tell us about how he uses the GTU 10 to track his 70-year-old father during a 3000-mile solo bicycle ride…

My father just turned 70 years old yesterday and is currently on a 3000-mile solo bicycle ride in Canada from Vancouver to Toronto. I bought him a Garmin GTU 10 so that I could track him on his journey. He suffered a serious stroke almost 2 years ago which has affected his communication skills, so it is important for me to know where he is as he has Aphasia and cannot verbalize proper names anymore (like the closest town). After 11 days, he is through BC and heading into Alberta. The Garmin has been a great little item. It has allowed me to track his journey 3000 miles away and gives me comfort in the knowledge that he is ok and moving steadily on his journey. Thanks!

Paul A.
