Have you ever been out on the water and discovered some great structure, sunken wreckage or fish so big that visual proof was required? Well, here's your chance to show us what you've come across!
Between now and December 31, 2014, capture one or more screenshots with your Garmin combo, chartplotter or sonar and you may win some great Garmin gear! If we choose your image to be posted to our Garmin Flickr account, you'll win a Garmin hat and t-shirt. Then, we'll select a monthly winner who will be given his or her choice of a Garmin VIRB Elite action camera or a quatix marine watch!
To enter your screenshot, go to our contest page (www.garmin.com/screencontest), enter your information and upload your image. Click 'Submit' and you're entered.
Need a quick refresher on how to take a screenshot on your chartplotter? No problem! On your chartplotter, go to your Home Screen and select Settings, System, then Display. Make sure 'Screen Shot Capture' is set to 'on.' Then, whenever you want to capture that great screen, press and hold the 'Home' key until you receive the message that it was saved. That's all there is to it!
