Vívoactive Basics: The Golf App
Need some help figuring out your yardages on the golf course? The vívoactive golf app allows you to navigate around the course in a new way. Whether it’s a friendly game or the club championship, the golf app lets you manage your golf game right on the wrist.
After the GPS satellites are configured, the watch face shows yardage to front, middle and back of the green for your approach shot. This gives you a look at the entire hole when deciding between clubs. The watch will display the hole number and par for the hole. There’s even a button to measure shot distance. All you need to do is hit the button on vívoactive and start walking to your ball.
Then, vívoactive uses GPS to see the data such as layup and dogleg distances when faced with a blind shot. With the built-in app, you can download more than 38,000 courses worldwide with Garmin Connect.
Round timer counts up time on the course and the built-in accelerometer tracks your steps. The individual stroke play scorecard lets you see if you’re under or over par so all you have to worry about is making your next shot count.
