6a00d83451bb7069e20148c87c7e6a970c-200wi I don’t know if you watched ABC this weekend, but if you did, you might have caught a glimpse of Garmin’s avionics on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.  Joe Hurston, who is a pilot and founder of Air Mobile Ministries, was chosen by ABC to get not only a makeover for his home but also his 1970 Cessna Skymaster.  The Skymaster is used by Air Mobile Ministries to deliver water purification systems all over the world.  The Skymaster named “Ti Burik” got a makeover as well with a complete line of Garmin products including a G500, dual GNS 430Ws, GMA 347, GTX 330, and an aera 500.  A team from Orlando Aircraft Services worked around the clock to rewire and install the new panel in three days.  Now with his state of the art glass cockpit, Joe and his wife Cindy are looking forward to continuing their work delivering clean water to a thirsty world.  If you missed the episode, you can watch it online here.
