Tour
Last week it was Sea Otter on the west coast, this week, Garmin’s way down south at the Tour de Georgia. 80 pro cyclists are pedaling their way across the sunny south in this weeklong, multi-stage event. Today’s stage takes the riders from Rome, Georgia to Chattanooga, Tennessee — a mere 118-mile ride that’s estimated to take from 4:15 to just under 5 hours. Check the official event site for daily race updates, live video and daily training tips from former pro cyclist Kevin Livingston, who highlights various features of Garmin’s Edge bike computer. Several of the riders are using the Edge to record their stats and will be uploading their data for the world to see using the site’s Tour Tracker feature.
