Tour de France: Tommy D still in Top 10; Garmin has strong grip on team lead
With two stages left in a Tour de France that has surpassed all expectations, Garmin-Cervelo still has two more remarkable achievements within their grasp. American Tom Danielson, riding in his first Tour, is solidly in 9th place with just Saturday's individual time trial and Sunday's final ride into Paris remaining. And thanks to Tommy D's consistency in the mountains alongside teammates Christian Vande Velde and Ryder Hesjedal, Team Garmin has paved the way for the championship in the team classification. But because we don't want to spoil any surprises, we'll let you follow the action on our Twitter list of cycling media and insiders, and we hope you enjoy these two awesome videos from our friends at Clif Bar and Cervelo.
As always, you can study the team's Edge data as posted to Garmin Connect and be sure to follow @Garmin and @Ride_Argyle on Twitter and visit SlipstreamSports.com for in-depth race reports.
