There’s a Plane in the Store!
Had you walked by the Garmin Store on Chicago’s famed Michigan Avenue yesterday you probably would have done a double-take when you realized a Cirrus SR22-G3 airplane was in the middle of the store. As many pilots and avid blog readers know, Cirrus and Garmin announced the Perspective glass cockpit last week, an all-glass Garmin cockpit that integrates information like aircraft attitude, air data, engine instrumentation, weather data, traffic and terrain.
The Cirrus SR22-G3 airplane mock-up took center stage at the Garmin store for 24-hours and kicked off a national Cirrus Perspective tour. The Cirrus SR22-G3 with Perspective mock-up and aircraft will be visiting 20-plus cities between now and the end of June, so if you missed last night’s event in Chicago you’ll want to contact Cirrus to find out more about the tour.
