Team Garmin Edge 705 goes public

Edge705teamgarminWhen Team Garmin’s professional cyclists took to the streets of France this summer, everyone noticed the cycling computer that was guiding their way. Inside, it was a top-of-the-line, GPS-enabled Edge 705. On the outside, these head units were sporting a makeover inspired by the team’s iconic orange-and-blue argyle that is beloved around the world. And until today, the only way you could have one of these sleek and powerful devices in the new paint scheme was to be a part of Team Garmin. Not anymore.

For a limited time, the Team Garmin Edge 705 will be available to the public. It comes bundled with a heart-rate monitor, speed/cadence sensor and detailed street mapping that provides turn-by-turn directions and millions of points of interest. And through ANT+ technology, you can share data wirelessly with other nearby Edge 705s and record information from ANT+ compatible power meters. We’ll be showing off the new Edge 705 all week at Interbike, so swing by or watch the Garmin blog for updates.
