Special Edition Wings for Life World Run vívofit 2
In February, we announced a global brand partnership with Wings for Life World Run, a running and wheelchair event to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for spinal cord injury. In addition to a monetary contribution, we are releasing a special edition Wings for Life World Run vívofit 2 which is available for purchase today here to assist in the race’s mission and to help bring awareness to the cause.
The Wings for Life World Run takes place on May 3, 2015 and is very different than a traditional race. There’s no finish line. There’s no set distance. Thirty minutes after the race begins, Catcher Cars start to chase the runners until they pass all of them and end their race.
The event takes place in 35 locations worldwide simultaneously at 11:00 a.m. UTC. The last female and male participants to be caught by the Catcher Cars are awarded of global Wings for Life World Run champions.
Click here to see if there is a Wings for Life World Run in your area and sign up to run for those who can’t. Make sure you bring your special edition Wings for Life World Run vívofit 2 with you to see how far you can outrun the Catcher Cars!
