September 1: Opening Day
For many hunters, September 1st is a special day. Tomorrow marks the start of the fall hunting season, with tens of thousands of hunters fanning across sunflower fields and farm ponds in search of dove. Sure, the action can be great, but more importantly, the start of the season marks great times afield with family and friends. On opening day 2005, we hooked up with our TV buddies over at Fishing and Hunting Texas for an amazing dove hunt at the Nooner Ranch near Hondo, Texas. We did some Rino 530 field testing too… which helped us keep tabs on one another in the field.
