After a busy week at Sun ‘n Fun, I think most of us here at Garmin have finally recovered and are starting to get back to the norm.  One product I haven’t mentioned in a while is the G1000 retrofit for the Beechcraft C90, which is due out later this year.  The C90 is one of the most proven designs in aviation history, and giving the driver’s seat a makeover is just what the doctor ordered. The C90 will have two 10.4-inch primary flight displays as well as a 15-inch multi-function display.  On the 15-inch MFD, you can display traffic, weather, terrain, FliteCharts and obstacles — providing you with situational awareness never seen before on the C90.  The Garmin GFC700 autopilot will also be included and will give the C90 a smooth handling feel.  The serial numbers for qualifying aircraft are LJ1085, LJ1088 through LJ1717, LJ1726, LJ1728 through LJ1753 and LJ1755, which also have the Collins AP65 autopilot and are equipped with a triple electronics bus.  So make sure you check the data plate on your airplane to see if your C90 can be equipped with the latest in avionics.
