Red Bull Air Race City Profile: Budapest
Pilots are getting ready for the next leg of the Red Bull Air Race Championships. The previous races in Abu Dhabi, Chiba and Rovinj brought action and excitement to spectators, but the next destination is one of the most unique venues in the lineup.
The fourth race at the 2015 Red Bull Air Race World Championships will take place in Budapest, the capital city of Hungary on July 4th and 5th. The last time a Red Bull Air Race was held here, the event brought over 650,000 spectators.
Budapest is a city of two halves, Buda and Pest, and is split across the Danube River. Attracting over 20 million visitors a year, it is one of the most popular destinations in Europe. Budapest is a beautiful city that is considered the center for business, entertainment, politics, culture and travel. The city is especially known for the wide range of architecture styles including the prominent neogothic Parliament building.The cityscape will be a stunning backdrop for spectators as pilots navigate the aerial course along the Danube.
