With fishing season right around the corner, it's about time to get those boats out of storage and get back onto the water.  Whether you're looking for a new handheld GPS as your primary source for navigation or want a 'just in case' for your ditch bag, our popular GPSMAP 78 series is now more affordable than ever.

GPSMAP78_HR_206.1The GPSMAP 78 features crisp and vibrant mapping, high-sensitivity receiver, a worldwide basemap and is waterproof.  Originally $249.99, the new price of the GPSMAP 78 is now $199.99

Very similar to the 78 model, the GPSMAP 78s offers more features like a 3-axis electronic compass, barometric altimeter and the ability to transfer data wirelessly to other like units.  Previously $349.99, the GPSMAP 78s now retails for $299.99.

GPSMAP78sc_HR_306.2Boasting the most features of the series, the GPSMAP 78sc includes a 3-axis compass, barometric altimeter, wireless data transfer to other like handhelds and comes preloaded with not only a worldwide basemap but BlueChart g2 coastal charts.  The 78sc dropped $100 in price from $449.99 to $349.99.

No matter which of the three you prefer, if they happen to go overboard when the weather gets a bit choppy, they are all waterproof and float!  Also, these handhelds are great for ice fisherman in colder climates.  So whenever it is that you get back out on the water, make sure to have a 78-series handheld on board.
