Peg’s Posts: Top 10 on the Forerunner 210

5. Friends with foot pod. For those who do some treadmill or indoor track running, you can pair the 210 with our foot pod accessory (or purchase the club bundle) to track your indoor runs.

6. Friends with gym equipment. The 210 joins a couple of our existing products that work with certain indoor fitness equipment so you can track and store data from a treadmill run or indoor cycling workout.

7. Every step counts. If you are using the 210 with foot pod, you can later upload to Garmin Connect and see your running cadence, or steps per minute. This data shows for indoor or outdoor workouts.

8. I ♥ the heart rate monitor. The 210 comes with our premium soft strap heart rate monitor. If you chafe at the thought of anything other than fabric next to your skin, this is the heart rate monitor for you.

9. Counts calories. If running is part of your weight-loss plan, you’ll be happy to know the 210 uses heart-rate based calorie computations for more accurate data.

10. A perfect fit. I’ve worn every single Forerunner model Garmin has made and the 210 fits my size XS wrist to a T. The watch display itself is large enough that you can see your stats at a glance, but nicely sized so you can wear it as an everyday watch.

Want to see if the Forerunner 210’s right for you? Visit us at the New York City Marathon expo, Nov. 4-6, and be one of the first to try it and buy it. We’ll even throw in a gift card for a free Road ID product. And if you’re retiring an older Forerunner model, bring it to our booth and get $25 off the purchase of new Forerunner. Working trade-in units will be donated to Girls on the Run.
