No. 19 team brings home season’s best
At last week Allstate 400 at The Brickyard, the No. 19 Best Buy/Garmin team took home their best finish of the season. "We were able to save our tires better than almost every team and continued to turn some of the fastest laps throughout the race and Rodney (the crew chief) made some great calls from on top of the pit box. Overall it was a true team effort and I am so proud to be a part of this team," Elliot said. The 4th place finish at Indianapolis is the second top-10 finish the team has had this season, and moved driver Elliott Sadler into 21st in driver points.
This weekend the team tackles the tricky triangle of Pocono Raceway. "This race track is not for the faint of heart – you have to maintain your concentration and continually hit your marks in order to be successful," Elliott said. Tune in to cheer on the team Sunday afternoon on ESPN as they look to record their third consecutive top-15 finish. Good luck to Elliott and the entire No. 19 team!
