Middlesbrough FC unveils its Garmin gear
Now that Garmin is sponsoring Middlesbrough Football Club of the Barclays English Premier League, we here at the office can already picture the new look for casual Fridays. Check out the team’s new kits (a.k.a. uniforms), which were unveiled at a press conference. Click here for more details and to see video.
Officials from Boro (as the team is known to fans and insiders) are already hoping for an extension to the one-year deal. "It’s a great partnership both on and off the pitch that we are confident will go from strength to strength."
As reported earlier on this blog, the team will be equipping each player with a Forerunner 305 to track speed, distance and heart rate during workouts. Fans will then be able to go to MotionBased.com to get inside the action.
