Lucy’s Logbook: Inside the updates for Garmin Pilot app on Android

Lucy2 Lucy3Creating a user waypoint is an updated feature which can be selected within the Radial Menu, as well. With the latest software update, the option to generate user-defined waypoints using latitude/longitude, radial/distance, and radial/radial combinations for reference is now available.

Since organization is an integral part of any flight, the option to create binders within Garmin Pilot is now possible. This feature organizes all terminal procedures into a binder specific to the departure, destination, and any alternate airports along your route of flight. Arranging charts into individual binders allows pilots the ability to easily call up charts as they have already been virtually bookmarked within Garmin Pilot, prior to your flight.

For more information regarding the latest software update specific to the Android operating system, a page dedicated to the highlights of this latest upgrade will be available in the Settings -> Support -> About, section of the Garmin Pilot.
