Chicago Store: FAA safety seminar on June 16
Calling all pilots: Join us at the Garmin Chicago Store for a Safety Seminar in conjunction with the FAA Safety team on Saturday, June 16.
Registration for the seminar – which will include an Electronic Flight Bag presentation on preflight planning, charts, and the ability of GPS on small handheld devices - is required. A control tower operations presentation with a Q&A session will immediately follow, and author Karleen Pettit will wrap the day up with an autograph signing for her book Flight for Control.
Limited seating is available, so you must register early for the seminar to earn a FAASTeam credit. Valet parking is free; just park with the valet outside T.G.I. Fridays and bring in your ticket for validation. All attendees also have the chance to grab some fantastic Garmin gear!
While you’re here you can also check out our display of Garmin avionics, which includes the aera series, G1000, and GTN series. You can also get some hands-on experience with our G1000 simulator powered by FRASCA. Call 312-787-3221 or visit our site for more information. We look forward to seeing you on June 16!
