I Can Navigate, Canoe?

Gps02_1Gps03_1Gps07_1Gps08_1Outdoor writer and wilderness guide Cliff Jacobson hosts a Canoeing and Camping School every year in Northwoods near Ely, Minnesota.  This summer, we worked with him to provide Geko 301 units for an intensive seminar on orienteering and GPS navigation.  His program is an excellent five-day crash course in all things camping and canoeing — we highly recommend it.  And if you can’t make the course but would like to learn more about navigating in the wilds, we recommend Cliff’s book, titled "Basic Essentials: Map and Compass."  We highly recommend it!
