How to Replace your vívofit Battery
If you’ve had vívofit for a year, you might be ready to swap out your batteries. Watch the video above for guidance or read the directions below for step-by step instructions.
The process is simple and you can be back to activity tracking in no time:
- Purchase two CR1632 batteries at a hardware store, camera store or an online retailer
- Once you have the batteries, remove the module from the activity band
- Unscrew the cover of the module using a small Phillips screwdriver
- Once all four screws have been removed, lift the cover of the module and remove the batteries
- Make sure to not lose or damage the gasket while removing the batteries
- Insert the new batteries and make sure they are placed in the gasket facing the correct side
- Place the cover onto the module and firmly tighten the four screws back in place
- Align the module with the band properly to insure the button module matches the button on the band
- Insert the module into the band, turn on the device, and begin activity tracking again!
