Here’s your chance to ride with the pros of Team Garmin

Jackson We couldn't be more proud to sponsor the pro cyclists of Team Garmin-Cervelo, especially as so many of our Garmin associates love to ride. Over the past few years, a big day on the calendar is when these elite athletes visit Garmin HQ to meet the engineers who design the Edge devices on their handlebars. And once again, a ride-out will be part of this event. But for the first time, the general public can now ride with some of the top pro cyclists in the world. Following the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in Colorado, you can join us for a 20-mile VIP ride with the pros on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 30. An opportunity like this doesn’t come along often, and space is limited to the first 100 VIPs, so sign up today! Every dollar from the $100 VIP entry fees goes directly to Bike MS as we raise funds to benefit the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Spots are selling quickly, so share the news and the link – http://bit.ly/ArgyleMS – with your friends, colleagues and cycling clubs today. Visit http://bit.ly/ArgyleMS for details.

Last night, Jake enjoyed meeting around 90 cyclists at a local ride put on by Spin Pizza, and he raffled off a VIP spot. You may have heard the results yourself as young Jackson, pictured here with Jake, screamed in delight: "I GET TO RIDE WITH TEAM GARMIN! I GET TO RIDE WITH TEAM GARMIN!!" Except he didn't stop at twice, try five times. And then into the phone, in a scene reminiscent of a Super Bowl-winning quarterback calling the White House. Except Jackson was even more excited. He rattled off the names of our roster like a seasoned cycling journalist, and he seemed surprised that the ride was only 20 miles. If you live here in the Kansas City metro, you have two more chances to win a VIP spot: at Spin's Wednesday night ride at the Main Street location or this Saturday in Lee's Summit.

Until then, here's a new Team Garmin video to keep you rolling with the USA Pro Cycling Challenge and the Vuelta right around the corner.
