Germany_hello_012 If you weren’t one of the 143,000 people lucky enough to make it to last weekend’s Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix event at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, fear not; we’ll let you in on all the fun. When race fans weren’t watching 21-year-old Casey Stoner lead from start to finish around the 32-lap, 2.238-mile track, the Garmin booth was the place to be! Equipped with a Team Roberts 2004 bike, with the Team Roberts Proton engine for fans to ogle over, and plenty of product demos, Garmin and race fans alike went home seeing a lot more than just a great race. Among the products featured were the zūmo series; navigators designed by bikers, built for motorcycles. Our favorite, the zūmo 550, offers high-end features like Bluetooth wireless technology, and a hefty points of interest database – perfect for those on the road. Ls2007_161_3

With all the great stuff to see, this year’s race was the largest spectator event in Monerey County. Next year’s Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix is scheduled for July 18-20, giving you plenty of time to brush up on your riding skills. For the full scoop, check out the official website here.
