Garmin vívofit 2: Getting Started

Are you ready to start moving with vívofit 2? If you are, watch the video above to get started and check out the features below to find out how the device can help you achieve your goals:

  • 1+ year battery life
  • Reminds you to stay active with move bar and audible alert
  • Learns your activity level and proposes a personalized daily goal
  • Shows steps, calories, distance and time of day on backlit display; monitors sleep
  • Automatically syncs to Garmin Connect™ to save, plan and share progress

Vivofit 2 - Display

You will be able to view total steps, steps left to goal, distance, calories, time and heart rate monitor ¹ on the display by pressing the vívofit 2 button.  If you’re in a dimly lit room or going for a walk at night, try the new backlight feature.

Vivofit 2 - Backlight

Press and hold the button briefly to active the backlight. This means no more excuses for skipping out on walks at night when the weather cooperates. You will be able to see all of your data now!

Vivofit 2 - Move Bar

If you’re familiar with the original vívofit, you know all about the move bar feature. This is in place to remind you to move when you have been inactive over an hour or more. All you need to do is get moving and the move bar will vanish. Also, vívofit 2 now includes an audible alert in addition to the move bar. Everyone in the room will know when you have been sitting down too long!

Vivofit 2 - Sleep Tracking

After a day full of being active, it’s time to get to sleep! Press and hold the vívofit 2 button until the display reads “SLEEP”. Once you wake up, hit the button again to end “SLEEP” mode and start tracking steps for the day. Your sleep data can be seen on Garmin Connect after syncing the data.
