Garmin Store: Doin’ the Shamrock Shuffle
This past weekend a number of associates from the store here in Chicago ran not only a booth at The LaSalle Bank Health & Fitness Expo, but also the full 8K (4.97 miles) LaSalle Bank Shamrock Shuffle. The booth at the Expo gave us a chance to show off the Forerunner product line and get the word out about our Saturday Running Club. We raffled off a Forerunner 305, and signed up a good number of runners to join us each Saturday. The Expo itself was very busy, with a number of vendors ranging from food to shoes to GPS. The race enjoyed participation levels of over 30,000 people, starting and ending in Grant Park. Overall, it was a great success for the store and congratulations to all who participated! In other news, we’ve now got our marvelous new Garmin Mobile display setup here in the store ready to demo all of our Mobile products (Garmin Mobile 4.0 for Sprint Nextel phones, Mobile 10, and the Mobile 20) on a variety of cell phones. Come in and get a hands-on demo from one of our Product Experts.
