Garmin at the Master National Retriever Test

Last week was the Master National Retriever Hunt Test in
Flint Oak Fall River, KS. We were very excited to be a part of this prestigious
retriever test, and enjoyed seeing dogs from all across the country compete.

The dogs are judged on memory, marking and perseverance in
multiple field tests that replicate hunting situations such as tall prairie
grass, ponds and creeks. The competition spanned several days, and only the
best dogs moved on to the “callbacks.” This is a pass/fail competition, so dogs
are not ranked by placements; the dogs that don’t measure up are dropped.

Congrats to all the retrievers and handlers who made this such
a great competition!
