"I was fortunate enough to get my hands on a Forerunner 405 for the P.F. Chang’s Rock and Roll Marathon on Sunday in Phoenix. At the race expo and during the event I had the opportunity to chat with other runners utilizing various other Forerunner models. Needless to say they were ‘green’ with envy at the look and features of our latest device.

"As an experienced Forerunner user, the 405 was very intuitive to use. The touch screen bezel had me ready to start the race in a matter of seconds. The features that are packed into this device not much larger than a standard watch are simply amazing! The GPS, virtual partner and heart-rate monitor kept me on track throughout the race. In addition the 405 also has the ability to share courses and workouts wirelessly with other Forerunner 405s. I can’t wait until my training partners get theirs…"
