To show its versatility, we called up our pro stand-up paddle boarder Jenny Kalmbach and our friends at C4waterman to lend a helping hand. Joining us on the boards were members of the media as well as pro triathletes Matt Lieto and Jenny Fletcher. With the 910 on our wrists we headed IMGP0013out onto the choppy sea with Kalmbach giving tips  along the way. She explained that she was a huge fan of the interval workout options this device has to offer and how it has changed her training. "I love the size of the 910. It has a low-profile design, yet does not sacrifice the size of the display," said Kalmbach. She went on to say, "I am super excited about the addition of the accelerometer and can't wait until the day I can get stroke count while paddling too!"IMGP0016

Canadian Jenny Fletcher, who is all too familiar with cold water and wetsuits said, "The design of the new 910XT allows for my wetsuit to come off during transition without any interruptions." She continued, "It is great to be associated and supported by a company who listens to the athletes who actually use the products."

With two full days left before the big race, athletes are making sure their software is up to date and their Forerunner and Edge devices are fully charged. Stay tuned for more info about the race and the reception the 910XT is receiving here in Hawaii.
