The eTrex handhelds has been an exceptionally popular tool for outdoor enthusiasts for many years and now the time has come to welcome a few innovative members to the legendary eTrex family. The eTrex Touch 25, 35 and 35t, are our next generation eTrex GPS handhelds with touch screen capabilities and plenty of other upgrades. The eTrex line has been our most popular handheld GPS unit and we couldn’t wait to talk about all the new features in the eTrex Touch family.
Comparing the old from the new, the advanced eTrex Touch will have a larger capacitive touch screen, an easier to use navigation for multiple activities, and preloaded with the Garmin World Wide Basemap. The eTrex touch handhelds will also have 4gb of expanded built-in memory and 250,000 preloaded caches from geocaching.com. Plus, the eTrex Touch 35 and 35t have wireless connectivity options and can receive smart notifications from certain mobile devices. Along with that, the 35 and 35t have the ability to control other Garmin devices such as the VIRB action camera and has a built-in barometric altimeter that can provide accurate elevation information to keep track of your ascent and descent along the way.
