D2 Aviator Watches – Which is Right For You?

For pilots, a wristwatch is more than just a fashion element, it’s a tool. Time is a key factor when it comes to flight – we track checkpoints, we monitor fuel consumption, and we calculate the amount of time we spend airborne for our logbooks. At Garmin, we’ve worked hard to find the perfect balance between performance features and physical design in a pilot watch – resulting in several elegant options.

D2

D2 Pilot Watch

The D2 is our original pilot watch, created with the flight environment in mind. Using our extensive knowledge and experience with GPS technology – especially in the cockpit – we were able to incorporate many of our most popular avionics features into this wristwatch. With dedicated Direct-to and Nearest buttons, the D2 allows pilots to conveniently find their destination within the integrated worldwide airport database. Flight plans can easily be uploaded to the watch when paired with a compatible device running Garmin Pilot. A built-in GPS altimeter with adjustable barometric setting and compass are also included along with a moving map. Plus set timers and vibrating alerts for inflight task reminders and easily reference Zulu/UTC time within the D2. D2 Bravo

D2 Bravo Pilot Watch

The “Bravo” as it’s commonly referred to as, represents our second generation within the D2 series. With most features carried over from the original D2, the Bravo offers a thinner and lighter design, as well as customizable watch face and bands. A new METAR and TAF feature also allows pilots to keep an eye on the weather at local airports at a glance. Plus, for those with a penchant for the active lifestyle, Bravo features activity tracking and multisport profiles for runners, golfers, cyclists and more. If you’re looking for a device to track your active lifestyle while also incorporating compelling aviation features, check out how the D2 Bravo can enhance your flying. Learn more here.

D2 Bravo Titanium

D2 Bravo Titanium Pilot Watch

As a premium version of the D2 Bravo, the “Titanium” includes the same feature set as the Bravo. However, unique to the Titanium is a built-in Elevate wrist heart rate monitor, a gunmetal steel bezel with refined 24-hour time reference points and titanium band. If you’re looking for a premium aviator watch, with advanced multisport activity tracking and heart rate monitoring, check out the D2 Bravo Titanium. Learn more here.
