Cycling support quickly spreads to other products
Ever since we announced our title sponsorship of Team Garmin in June, we’ve been thanked with e-mails from fans of the team and sport in general. Cyclists see our sponsorship, our success in events around the world and the team’s commitment to 100% clean racing as signs that good guys can come out on top. While we’d love to share every one of these letters with you on the blog, there’s not enough time in the day to post them all. So here’s another excerpt from the inbox:
I just wanted to let you know that I recently bought two Garmin products within the last two weeks. Note: they are not your top-of-the-line products, but support nonetheless. I bought the Forerunner 305 and the nüvi 250. The reason I bought these are: 1) Products that fit my needs 2) your support of pro cycling’s Team Garmin-Slipstream. I was at the store and one of the salesmen was trying to sell me a competitor’s GPS products, and I wouldn’t even consider it because of your support for cycling.
