CUBE Action Team Sponsorship
Garmin is proud to announce our sponsorship of the CUBE Action Team for 2015. This elite team is built up of 6 extremely talented mountain bikers that compete in downhill and uphill endurance races all over the world.
Recently, the team traveled to Chile for the Andes Pacifico Race. The Andes Pacifico is an enduro mountain bike race that takes place over four days across the country of Chile and moves westward over ten valleys of rigorous and demanding terrain that extends to the Pacific Ocean. The Pacific Andes Enduro was limited to only 80 approved riders, whom were all severely challenged by the very technical trails and mental difficulties that are involved with an endurance mountain bike race. Amongst those 80 riders was our very own Nico Lau, who won this year’s Andes Pacifico Race. The 25-year-old CUBE Action team leader is one of the fastest enduro riders on the planet and his latest performance at the Andes Pacifico undeniably displayed his talents on a bike.
Congratulations to Nico and the CUBE Action Team on a great victory, and here’s to more exciting ventures in 2015 and beyond.
