Craftsman Truck Series: Kansas Bound
Chad McCumbee’s theGPSStore.com/Garmin No. 08 Chevy spent last weekend’s race at Martinsville near the front of the pack nearly the entire time… but some bad luck snatched a potential win from the team. Chad got tangled up with another car with just 15 laps to go, giving him a 24th place finish. The No. 08 team will have a few weeks to rest up before they come to Garmin’s "home track," the Kansas Speedway on April 28. The Garmin blog team will be there for all the race action!
Meanwhile, the luck was similar for BestBuy/Garmin driver Jeff Green and the No. 66 car. After running as high as 14th place, brake snafus (nearly ubiquitous at short-track Martinsville) ultimately handed Green a 36th place finish. The NEXTEL Cup takes next weekend off for Easter, but will be in gunning for a top ten finish the following weekend at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.
