Congratulations to Brian Duffy, our Fish with a Pro contest winner
Earlier this year, we offered
a lucky winner and a guest the opportunity to fish with 4-time FLW Tour winner
and pro bass guide Scott Martin. Brian Duffy entered and won a trip to Florida
to spend a day on Lake Okeechobee and fish with Scott on his tournament boat,
rigged with Garmin gear.
Here is Brian’s recap of his recent fishing trip with Scott:
“First of all, it was our
first trip to Florida and it was amazing! I did a little bit of homework before
leaving California and I knew Hurricane Sandy might have Lake Okeechobee
fishing a little different than normal. The high water levels had the fish
really scattered. Luckily having Scott Martin as my guide, he was able to
put us on some good fish! I truly enjoyed spending 7 hours fishing with Scott,
being able to ask questions and I even picked up a few techniques that I'm sure
will help me in my future fishing. I'm probably an intermediate level
fisherman, at best! I'm sure that as soon as I receive my Garmin Fish
Finder, my fishing will improve! Thanks
again for an amazing trip!”
