Chicago Store: Stop by while traveling to Osh!
This past week, the store has seen an increase in the number of curious aviators stopping in when they see our big Garmin logo on the side of the building. Why the increase you ask? Because as Roger has been reporting, EAA’s Airventure is going on this week. This week-long gathering in Oshkosh, WI, draws pilots from all over the globe. With O’Hare being the closest larger international airport, we have had many travelers from across the pond stop in on their way to what has been called the aviators’ “Mecca”. I’ve spoken to pilots from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, England, and other countries who were excited to be on their way to Airventure. Our other resident pilot and myself will be heading up for the weekend tomorrow to check out the action. I’ll report back next week with pictures and details.
