2011BestCALLtoACTION For the second year running, the Garmin Chicago Store took home an award in Oak Street Design’s Summer Window Contest. Design and retail industry leaders voted Garmin’s “Whatever Floats Your Boat” marine windows as the “Best Call to Action.” Oak Street Design's contest celebrates the glamour, theater, fashion and fun that goes into creating the top displays on Michigan Avenue and Oak Street.  Congratulations to the Garmin team and Chicago store for a great campaign!

Bikes Also for the second year, the Garmin Chicago team is participating in Bike to Work Week (June 11-17), sponsored by the Active Transportation Alliance. As it stands, nearly half of the Chicago staff already bike to work frequently, so here's hoping that Garmin has  chanceto be one of the greenest and healthiest offices in Chicago! During Bike to Work Week, Garmin Chicago is offering Active Transportation Alliance members 10% off your total purchase, just show your membership card. And when you stop by, check out our new Cervelo bike now on display and featuring the touchscreen Edge 800. Now’s a great time to try the Edge 800 before you buy it and to make the most every ride.
