If you are into free skiing or backcountry riding, Jackson Hole’s 450 inches of snow annually and more than 4,000 vertical feet of course will be perfect. Jackson Hole Mountain has an elevation of about 10,400 ft. with a total of 13 lifts. The resort is best known its extreme terrain and powder, but also has options for intermediate and beginners skiers.

Aspen Snowmass has a total of 43 lifts spanning across all 4 resorts and has the biggest vertical drop in North America with 4,400 feet. The world-renowned resort offer great backcountry skiing at the Highland Bowls, one of the best terrain parks in the world at Buttermilk, and is home to numerous easy runs for beginners as well. Whistler-Blackcomb

The resort offers numerous options for backcountry skiing, hiking powder filled bowls, impeccably groomed trails for greenhorns, and a great terrain park. Whistler is also open in the summer months for mountain biking and hiking. It’s truly an oasis for any and all outdoor recreation.
