Another Garmin Grand Giveaway winner!
The Bermuda Big Game Classic – Bermuda’s largest tournament – wrapped up last week, and team “Fa-La-Me” took home honors…and took home another Garmin Grand! According to the tournament organizers, fishing this year was a bit tough for the Classic, with 55 billfish released and none coming to the scales. The best fishing was the second day, where Fa-La-Me caught two blues in the morning and two whites in the afternoon – earning them the daily jackpots and 1,400 points heading into the final day of fishing. On the last day, with only an hour and a half to go in the contest, team Fa-La-Me called in a hookup that was crucial to their success! Team Fa-La-Me not only took home first place, but because the team’s 70′ Viking had Garmin equipment on board, they also scored another $1,000 through the Garmin Grand Giveaway! This is the fourth tournament we’ve given away the Garmin Grand – making us four for four! This weekend our marine team heads to the Oregon Tuna Classic.
