Adventurer Gabriel Gray’s fēnix 3 Review
Adventurist and stand up paddle boarder Gabriel Gray is no stranger to the diversity and practicality of our outdoor products. Gabriel is an outdoorsman, a survivalist, a firefighter, an EMT Medic, a USLA open water lifeguard, the creator of The Fight to SOAR Project and Garmin ambassador. With the ability to navigate his adventures and track his fitness metrics along the way, one of Gabriel’s favorite new instruments is his Garmin fēnix 3 multisport GPS watch.
With the power of the fēnix 3 on Gabriel’s wrist, he can traverse rivers with confidence and reassurance. When asked what function he likes most about the fēnix 3 he said, “While out on an expedition it’s nice to have GPS and navigation capabilities right at my fingertips. I would say the position plus widget would be my favorite. This way I can get exact coordinates to mark my location and use it quickly if I need to.” Navigation isn’t the only benefit of the fēnix 3. On a daily basis Gabriel utilizes the watch to track his steps and calories and said, “This function really comes in handy for tracking my calorie output while out on an expedition. The versatility and quality of the watch definitely separates it from others. The common trend that I have found is the ease of use and quality.”
