24satellite We know Garmin fans love gears, gadgets and riveting technology of all kinds – especially the latest and greatest finds. But to understand where we are today, it’s important to examine where we’ve been. Don’t worry, I’ll spare you the boring history lecture you could receive from me, and instead, encourage you to check out The History Channel’s, "Modern Marvels: 90s Tech," to broaden your horizons on the history of technology. The show airs tonight at 8 pm, and promises to show you how the digital gadgets that we can’t live without all started in the 90s. From Amazon to Google, Furby to George Foreman, TiVo to GPS, they’ll take you way back to the end of the 20th century to the beginning of today’s trendy technologies. Tune in to see some of Garmin’s first devices, and a few of our oldies with a really neat past. This is one history lesson you won’t want to miss!
