zumo Kudos

As a reminder, you’ve got just a few more days to sign up to win a zumo, our state-of-the-art GPS navigator for motorcycles.  We’re not the only one that thinks zumo is the cat’s meow… we’re receiving a bunch of kind words from folks who use zumo for work and for play.  Here are a couple stories:

UntitledI purchased my zumo 550 about a month ago for use both on my motorcycle, and at work (I’m a Police Officer). I simply want to say it’s probably one of the best expenditures I ever made. The zumo 550, in every way, is much more than I expected. It is extremely apparent when you use it that Garmin took great pains to make it easy to use while giving you the information you need. I was a bit concerned the first time I used the Web Updater tool. I have built several computers and any time you update firmware you cross your fingers and pray to the gods of data that it doesn’t render your system useless. But the Web Updater was absolutely one of the easiest pieces of software I have ever used. It updated my zumo in about 2 minutes without a single glitch. Hats off to Garmin for an excellent piece of equipment. (Robert H.)

I don’t have any fancy stories about using my zumo 550. The whole point of having GPS is so that you don’t get lost. I just wanted to say that it is an awesome unit and is very easy to use once you figure it out. This unit is better than the one in my car. The detailed maps are awesome and I love the little motorcycle guiding me along.  I also love the turn by turn directions, the ability to recalculate a route quickly and the pronunciation of the street names is awesome. The included MP3 player is a bonus giving access to music while I ride while still being able to get directions. I’ve had no problems using this unit while riding with gloves on. It also integrates well on both of my bikes. I can’t say enough about this unit  and I know I’ve just scratched the surface on what it can do.  I love showing it off to all of my motorcycle buddies. Fantastic job Garmin. (Russell K.)
